How We Improved Usability with a Bespoke WordPress Website

Dirty Design approached us needing a WordPress website that not only reflected their brand identity but also engaged users with interactive elements and seamless mobile responsiveness.
The Brief
Dirty Design’s original website was developed on WordPress but lacked the necessary flexibility to showcase their diverse content effectively.
The main goal of this project was to translate the Figma design Dirty Design provided into a fully-functional and dynamic WordPress website. The new website needed to host a range of media from animated gifs, immersive videos, various illustrations as well as improving the usability for administrators.
The Solution
The new website was developed utilising our own proprietary starter template. This template provided a solid foundation while allowing for extensive customisation through custom-built Gutenberg blocks.
To create a seamless user experience across all devices, we developed various features to enable responsive controls throughout the site to ensure optimal viewing on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Responsive video formats: Videos adjust from landscape to portrait mode for mobile users, ensuring uninterrupted viewing.
- Interactive elements: Animated illustrations triggered by user interactions (hover states) add an engaging touch and enhance the website’s visual appeal on all screen sizes.
Hosting on our web server, the website is also kept up-to-date, security and optimised.
