• What they fund: Unrestricted £1,000 awards (so spendable on a website), plus £5,000 themed special draws and larger grants of £10,000+ that blend project and core costs over up to three years.
• Who can apply: Registered charities, non-registered charities, churches and CICs.
• The angle: The £1,000 draws run on nomination volume, so the practical task is mobilising supporters to nominate rather than writing a bid. Low effort, low certainty, but worth entering given how little it costs to try. The larger grants are themed (heritage and arts, education and skills, rural and community development, climate and environment), so check theme fit before applying.
