A local team for local charities
Most of our work is for charities, and a good share of it is close to home. We also work remotely with charities all over the UK, so being down the road is a bonus, not a requirement.
Meet in person
Being nearby means we can sit in on a trustee meeting, run a discovery workshop at your office, or meet your fundraising team for a coffee in Chipping Sodbury.
The people who build it
You’ll talk to the people who design and build your site, not an account manager. And once it’s live, the same team looks after it.
15% off for charities
Registered charities get a standing 15% off, and we take on two pro-bono projects every year.
Charities we’ve worked with in and around Bristol
Sight Research UK
The eye research charity, based in Bradley Stoke. We moved their website from Django to a custom WordPress block theme, rebuilt the donation journey and migrated twelve years of content, keeping every old URL so their search rankings came with them.
Jessie May
Jessie May provides hospice care at home for children across Bristol and the surrounding area. We rebuilt their website so the team can launch pages and appeals themselves, with stronger search foundations and a donation form that feels part of the site.
What we found when we checked Bristol’s charity websites
In August 2026 we measured the websites of 1,233 charities across the Bristol area for a pilot study.
1,233
charities across the Bristol area measured
44.7%
showed a visible way to donate online
28.8%
sent donors to somebody else’s website to give
Top 3
donation platforms carried over half of all offsite giving
If your charity is one of the ones that’s hard to give to, fixing that is usually the quickest win we can offer.

What it costs
Real projects we’ve built have ranged from about £4,500 for a focused build to about £11,000 for a full rebuild, and completely bespoke builds such as membership or network sites are around £18,000 to £24,000. Our guide to how much a charity website costs breaks that down line by line, and our charity web design page covers how we work.
Local funding
Local funders can help too. Quartet Community Foundation funds charitable and community groups across the West of England, and our free Funding Finder lists other grants that can pay for a charity website.

Questions Bristol charities ask
If your question isn’t here, email [email protected] or book a 30 minute discovery call.
Do you only work with charities in Bristol?
No. We’re based just outside Bristol and many of our clients are local, but we work with charities all over the UK. Most projects run perfectly well over video calls, with an in-person workshop if it helps.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. If you’re in Bristol or nearby we’re happy to come to you for a discovery workshop or a trustee meeting, or you can visit us in Chipping Sodbury.
Do you work with businesses as well as charities?
Mostly we work with charities and mission-led organisations, and our tools and research are built for them. We also build for a small number of businesses, mainly WooCommerce shops.
How much does a charity website cost?
Most of the projects we’ve built have cost between about £4,500 and £11,000, depending on how much content there is to move and what needs connecting. Completely bespoke builds, such as membership or network sites with several integrations, are around £18,000 to £24,000. Registered charities get 15% off. See the full cost breakdown.
