What does “native CRM integration” actually mean?
It means a donation hitting forGood writes the donor, gift, recurring schedule and consent state into Beacon, Donorfy or Raisely through their official API in under three seconds - no Zapier, no nightly CSV, no “sorry, the sync broke last Tuesday”. Records merge into existing households, lifetime value updates, and the thank-you task gets queued in the CRM the same way it would for a postal gift entered by hand.
What happens to Gift Aid? Do I have to file it myself?
Either way works. The ForGood plugin lets you export an CSV file from your dashboard - your finance officer uploads it to HMRC’s Charities Online portal whenever suits. Alternatively, some CRM systems like Donorfy do this for you.
What about Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Apple Pay and Google Pay are auto-enabled wherever the donor’s browser supports them providing it's also enabled in Stripe.
