How do we pay?
Monthly by Direct Debit through GoCardless, or yearly by invoice with 2 months free.
Is there a contract?
12 months, then rolling monthly with 30 days’ notice.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes, prices exclude VAT.
What if we use fewer hours than the plan includes?
Unused hours don’t roll over, which keeps the price low and our time predictable.
How quickly will you reply?
Basics within 2 working days, Care by the next working day, Care Plus the same working day. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Can we keep our hosting elsewhere?
No. Care plans include our hosting, because updates, backups and monitoring depend on it. If you’d rather keep your current host, our WordPress maintenance plans cover sites hosted anywhere.
Can we change plans?
Yes. You can move up at any time, or move down at your next renewal.
What happens if we leave?
You get a full backup of your site and we’ll help you move it. Your website is yours.
What’s Tinwell?
Our donation tool for WordPress. Donors give on your own website, with Gift Aid, Direct Debit and a donor portal built in. Visit tinwell.org
What does the SEO add-on include?
Each month we review how your site shows up in Google: the searches people find you for, pages Google can’t index, speed, broken links, and missing titles and descriptions. You get a short plan of what to fix first, and we make the quick fixes ourselves, such as titles, descriptions, image alt text, redirects and structured data.
Writing new pages or rewriting content isn’t included. That can come out of your plan’s included hours, or we’ll quote for it. The add-on is £125 a month or £1,250 a year on any plan, with a 6-month minimum because SEO takes a few months to show results. We’ll need access to your Google Search Console, and we’ll set it up if you don’t have it. Nobody can guarantee rankings, so we don’t.
Do you use AI for the SEO reviews?
Yes. AI tools help us review your site more thoroughly than we could by hand in the same time. A person checks every recommendation and makes every change.
