CharityJob Annual Charitable Giving

Every year CharityJob gives part of its profits to small UK charities. In 2026, five charities will each get £10,000.

The application is short, and CharityJob doesn’t tie the money to a set list of uses. It’s worth a punt if your charity meets the size limits!

• What they fund: A one-off donation rather than a project grant. You tell them what you’d spend it on and what difference it would make, so you can put it toward whatever would help your charity most. That could be a new website, a donations setup, or the digital tools your team keeps putting off.
• Typical grants: £10,000 each, five awards, £50,000 in total. Amounts have varied in past years. 2025’s donations ranged from £5,000 to £20,000, so don’t assume £10k is fixed for future rounds. GRIN
• Who can apply: Your charity must:
  • be UK-based, and not a CIC
  • spend its funds on UK causes only
  • have had income and spending both under £1m in the last financial year
  • have been registered for more than a year, with published accounts
  • have 50 or fewer full-time staff
• The angle: Small charities rarely get £10k with this much freedom from this little paperwork. The form asks for your basic details, what you’d use the money for, and the impact it would have. Be concrete: “a new accessible website that lets us take regular gifts online and cuts admin time by X hours a month” is much stronger than “digital improvements”.
• Worth knowing: The scheme has been running a long time. Over the past 25 years CharityJob has donated £1,493,830 to 124 charities. It’s an annual round with a short window, so if you miss this one, look for it again next September. Past rounds have also invited members of CharityConnect, CharityJob’s sister site, to apply.
