• What they fund: The funder’s “what you can spend the money on” page lists running costs for your organisation, equipment, and staff and training costs, and says funding can help your organisation adapt to new challenges. That’s wide enough to cover a website that’s part of how you deliver.
• Typical grants: £300 to £20,000 for up to two years for community-led projects. If your project is arts or sports focused, it’s up to £10,000 for up to 12 months.
• Who can apply: Community-led organisations running projects in Scotland. You don’t need to be a registered charity: check the funder’s “who can apply” page for the organisation types it accepts.
• The angle: Same rule as the England programme. Lead with reach or service delivery and let the website be the means, never “we need a new website”. The spend guidance here is written around your organisation rather than project costs alone, which is what makes the Scottish version the more useful one for digital work.
• Worth knowing: Applications are open all year and decisions take around 12 weeks, so build that into your timeline. It can’t fund costs you’ve already paid or VAT you can reclaim.
